Reusing Waste Product

We wanted to make sure that our supply chain was a neatly closed loop, so we found ways to reuse our waste. Our sawdust is collected and used to make an excellent burning substance: the briquette. A majority of the Timorese population use traditional methods of cooking, and require burning wood. This has been the cause of deforestation in this beautiful country. However, the briquette provides an alternative. Rather than continuing to reduce our forestry, locals can use an inexpensive and more sustainable alternative. Buy briquettes, and save the forests, at $.20 per kilogram.
